Organizing, Analysis & Editing | Class Sessions

Until further notice, all class sessions will be hosted on the virtual platform Kaltura Live Room, which will allow us to video chat, have group breakout sessions, review materials loaded to Kaltura, and more. We will also be able to record sessions to make it accessible in case someone misses a session or wants to revisit it.

Transition Week 15/03 – 19/03

While compiling Loglist Pre-selection, begin to identify up to 30 minutes of select reels for REEL1. For REEL2, you will submit a second 30-minute selection after receiving feedback on REEL 1. These REEL assignments are optimized for video-based projects, but if your project emphasizes other formats, then a similar process should be applied to selecting audio reels, photo compilations, drawing samples, etc. The key idea is that you are making broad selections of “in” and “out” points that show a sample of work, not an edit.
